Ribboner: Difference between revisions
(I may not necessarily seem like it, but I think of me as a pretty good photo motive setup handler. I sure worked for some two months to get the best close-up of him.) |

First appearance | Princess Peach: Showtime! (2024) |
Ribboner is a Theet who appears in Princess Peach: Showtime! He is found in each play (except the boss fights and rehearsals) and can be assisted or rescued by Princess Peach. When Peach does so, he gives her a dress ribbon or a Stella ribbon. He wears a top hat and a red bowtie, has a mustache, and has a small bag with green and blue bows beside him. He usually only communicates with hovering speech bubbles, but he is referred to by name in a few levels, such as The Case of the Rainy-Day Plot.
He will generally exclaim a need for being helped or rescued, and if he is rescued, he will congratulate Peach or explain what he'll do after his rescue, and will begin dancing. Some of his rescue messages indicate he plays an experienced traveler in the plays, including:
- Having learned an "ancient ninja art: the pot-hide technique." (Ninjutsu: The Art of Rapids).
- Had bought an entrance ticket to the museum, but had lost his ticket, and the museum was closed either way (The Case of the Missing Mural).
- Having booked a train seat (Cowgirl at Dusk).
- Going for a dive as the only land-based character (Melody of the Sea).
- Bringing a parachute with him (The Stolen Statue).
- Being an art painting appraiser who love the works of Mira Culous (The Case of the Rainy-Day Plot).
- Spinning excitedly around in outer space (Mighty Mission: The Rescue).
Despite his travel experiences and preparations, he finds himself in problems very often that Peach must help him get out of, including being surrounded by enemies, getting stuck in or behind things, booking tickets to the wrong departures, and hanging onto things.
Once the main game has been completed, he will stand in the lower right on the fifth floor of the Sparkle Theater.
While he does award ribbons in the demo, such ribbons cannot be worn by Peach, as the Wardrobe section in the pause menu is inaccessible.
