The Real McCoy is a microgame found in the IQ folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!. The title of the microgame is based off an idiom and metaphor which means "the real thing".
Gameplay
The objective of the game is to choose which GBA looks like the one shown in the beginning. If you click the legitimate GBA, it will be circled in red, otherwise the rest will be crossed out in red.
- 1st level difficulty: The player must find the correct GBA by looking at the front side.
- 2nd level difficulty: The player must find the correct GBA by looking at the back side.
- 3rd level difficulty: The player must find the correct GBA by looking at the front side again. Some of the GBAs are flipped upside-down, which may include the correct GBA.
Different colors will have different effects on the differences as well.
- If the GBA is indigo, the GBAs will have the buttons mixed up. Buttons may even be on the back.
These include: •Flipping the GBA vertically
•Replacing the buttons with a pad and vice versa
- If the GBA is pink, the GBA screens will have different sizes. The screen, or the buttons, may be on the back as well. These include:
•Shrinking the screen
•Putting the bottom on top or flipping the screen horizontally
- If the GBA is orange, the GBAs will have the buttons modified. The back will be modified as well. These include:
•Removing a button
•Doubling the buttons
•Rotating the pad 45°
There is a total of 12 different forms possible for a GBA. Involving the back-sided ones makes it 24.
