Cruise Mileage Points function as a type of currency in Mario Party 7. The player may spend these points at the Duty-Free Shop to purchase minigames, figures, characters, and extra features for the game. Cruise Mileage Points can be earned in a variety of ways, such as playing minigames, completing King of the River in Minigame Cruise, or even having a regular party.
During a Party Cruise, one point is earned for every space the players move. During a Solo Cruise, one point is earned for every space the players move, in addition to 500 points if the players win against a computer player.
