Driver's Ed is a Special minigame found in Mario Party 2. As its name implies, it is set in a driving school. To obtain the minigame, the player has to buy all 4-Player, 1-vs-3, 2-vs-2, Item, and Battle minigames. The minigame then shows up as a pear on Woody. When the pear is selected, the minigame commences. The camera shows the player where to start, go, and finish at the end. This is the only single-player minigame in Mario Party 2, excluding Item minigames.

Gameplay[edit]

The player must drive through the cones in the order written on the balloons within one minute. The player also has to pass them in the correct order when going through correctly by direction, because if the player drives to the wrong balloon, drives to the correct balloon but in the wrong direction, or runs out of time, they lose. This minigame has five different courses.

If the player clears the minigame and sets a new record, "New Record!" pops up. If the player clears but does not set a new record, the "one winner" music plays.
