Type General minigame

Deck Hunt (Skateboard Scramble in the British English version) is a General minigame found in Mario Party: Island Tour. The American English name comes from the NES and arcade game, Duck Hunt, another Nintendo game. The British name comes from the toy Screwball Scramble.

Introduction

For the demo, Blue Toad skates through three coins and then loses them hitting a Spiny Egg.

Gameplay

Here, competitors ride skateboards down a slope. Their goal is to collect coins scattered on the street. Some coins slide down the hill as well. There are also Spiny Eggs, which make players who touch them to drop three coins, though anyone can still collect them again. The player(s) with the largest amount of coins as the minigame ends is/are the winner(s).

Controls

  • Circle Pad – Move
