Krazy Kaos is the boss level of Great Ape Lakes, the fourth world of Donkey Kong Land III. It features the return of KAOS, and it is based on Kaos Karnage from Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! After beating KAOS, the Kongs can proceed to Tin Can Valley, where Baron K. Roolenstein awaits.

Layout

The fight takes place in a factory setting nearly identical to the one in Kaos Karnage. The arena is a simple flat room with a wall on each side.

During the battle, the Kongs have to jump on KAOS's head three times. However, while KAOS is hovering at a low altitude, he has an electrical current protecting his head, so the Kongs must wait for it to disappear before they can attack him. KAOS will hover from side to side, damaging the Kongs if he touches them. He can be avoided by ducking. He will then rise upward, and blades and boxing gloves will extend from his sides. The boxing gloves will knock the Kongs away (but not injure them), so they need to use the blades as platforms while avoiding the boxing gloves so they can jump on his now-unprotected head. After taking damage, KAOS will start hovering from side to side at a higher speed and lower height than usual so the Kongs can't duck under him. He will then resume his previous attack pattern. Even after the final hit, KAOS will still hover around for a short while before going down. The Kongs get a Bonus Coin for defeating him.
