The Mermaid[1][2] is a character from Donkey Kong 64 who lives in a large shell palace in Gloomy Galleon. Her appearance is that of a blonde with long hair and a bluish-green tail. She wears a bluish-green strapless bra and a silver tiara plus a pendent around her neck, and owns several pearls that the Kremling Krew apparently stole from her.
After Tiny Kong meets her, she learns that the Mermaid had lost all of her pearls. As a result, Tiny sets off to find them. She eventually finds them in a treasure chest full of Oysters. Each Oyster has one of the Mermaid's pearls in them. After Tiny gets all the pearls, she returns them to the Mermaid, much to her delight. As a reward, the Mermaid gives Tiny a Golden Banana.
