World Star-5 is the fifth level of World Star, in New Super Mario Bros. 2. This level combines the elements of grass and sky. Lakitus appear alongside red and green Koopas and Paratroopas. The level also contains a Gold Ring and Balance Lifts.

Layout

The level begins next to some Koopa Troopa and a Balance Lift. Two ? Blocks are found, one of which containing a power-up, followed by three more Balance Lifts. A Lakitu appears, which can be used to reach a Gold Ring above. Some Mushroom Platforms with ? Blocks above them can be found, along with two more Balance Lifts. The Checkpoint Flag is then found, along with two more ? Blocks and a Koopa Troopa. Three more Balance Lifts follow, along with more Koopa Troopas. Two ? Blocks that can be hit using a Koopa Troopa's shell are found on a platform, followed by more Balance Lifts. After a final Balance Lift, the player reaches the Goal Pole.

Moon Coins

  • Moon Coin 1: At the start of the level, Mario or Luigi should defeat the first Lakitu and take his cloud. Then Mario or Luigi should ride the cloud up to get the first Moon Coin.
  • Moon Coin 2: The second Moon Coin can be seen on the Balance Lifts after the checkpoint. Ride the Balance Lift down to the second Moon Coin.
  • Moon Coin 3: Mario or Luigi should defeat the final Lakitu before the Goal Pole and acquire his cloud, then ride it upwards to a Warp Pipe, inside is the third and final Moon Coin.
