Music sample

Cheep Cheep Reef is the second race of the Shell Cup in Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. This course appears to take place underwater, with the gates being designed to be decorated with reefs, while the racers' voices are distorted so as to make it appear they are underwater. As the course icon indicates, this track may introduce Cheep Cheeps trailing sets of five Coins. The coins may be collected, whereas colliding with a Cheep Cheep stuns the driver briefly. This race reuses the music from Mario Kart 8's DS Cheep Cheep Beach for its theme. The course's icon depicts a Cheep Cheep with a trail of coins.

Gates

The gates in this race are stylized with reefs and coral. Half of the gates produce Item Boxes, though only one of them guarantees it, as the other has them appear out of Warp Pipes at intervals, possibly too early or too late for the player.

  • Gate 1: No additional properties.
  • Gate 2: Has Item Boxes.
  • Gate 3: No additional properties.
  • Gate 4: Has an Item Pipe.
