The Work Elevator[1] is an object in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS. It appears only in the course the Hazy Maze Cave, specifically in the mission Elevate for 8 Red Coins, and is a large flat platform with four arrow-emblazoned buttons that Mario, Yoshi, Luigi, or Wario can step on to move the platform. It shakes a little and stops moving if it bumps into something, after which it moves in the opposite direction. If the player character falls off the Work Elevator, it will respawn at its original location.
