Silverball Studios (formerly Fuse Games) is a British video game company based in Burford, Oxfordshire. Founded by Adrian Barrit and Richard Horrocks, the company has made few games in its lifetime. Its first video game for Nintendo was the Game Boy Advance game Mario Pinball Land, which ended up being a best-seller in Japan, and its most recent game was Thomas & Friends: Hero of the Rails for the Wii and Nintendo DS. The company nearly went bankrupt in 2009 after completing Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon for DSiWare, but expanded and was renamed Silverball Studios. It specializes in games for Nintendo platforms but is also a licensed developer for Sony, Microsoft and Apple.

The company was acquired and merged with Barnstorm Games in 2012.[1]
