Revision as of 10:31, October 1, 2020
World 9 is a jungle-themed world in Dr. Mario World. The first area is available as of 3 AM PT on Oct. 31, 2019[1], while the second area, challenge stages and special stage are available as of 2 AM PT on Nov. 21, 2019[2].
When the areas are cleared, Goombrats, Scuttlebugs and Wigglers appear. The viruses featured in the regular stages are red, yellow and blue, while in the challenge stages, the featured viruses are green, light-blue and pink.
Area 1
Image | Stage | Best Doctors | Overview |
---|---|---|---|
Stage 321 | Dr. Yoshi |
This stage introduces flasks, which shoots out random objects at empty spaces if a capsule landed without making a match. The random objects vary by stage, so in this stage for example, the random objects could be viruses or exploders. Moreover, larger flasks shoot out more objects compared to the smaller flasks. Each empty flask will fully fill after 5 capsule landings. The objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses, including any that appear from flasks. | |
Stage 322 | Dr. Koopa Troopa |
The objective of this stage is to find all coins from Coin Blocks. The necessary coins are found in one Brick Block on each row of Brick Blocks or crates. Other Brick Blocks contain hidden viruses. Frozen flasks will not fill up until it is cleared of ice. Filled flasks in this stage will shoot out either viruses or shells.
The capsule amount is increased from 26 to 30 since version 2.0.0. Besides that, this stage is otherwise the same. | |
Stage 323 | Dr. Peach |
The objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses, including any that appear from flasks. The stage's Brick Blocks and Empty Blocks are arranged like a staircase. Certain Brick Blocks have hidden viruses. Filled flasks in this stage will shoot out either viruses, exploders or Brick Blocks.
The capsule amount is increased from 26 to 30 since version 2.1.0. Besides that, this stage is otherwise the same. | |
Stage 324 | Dr. Baby Daisy |
The objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses and collect all purple coins. Cages are also featured in this stage, in which the red lock blocks unlocks the middle ring of cages, the yellow lock block unlocks the outer ring of cages and the blue lock block unlocks the inner ring of cages. Two exploders appear in the middle ring.
Purple coins are unlocked in the following sequence:
The capsule amount is increased from 36 to 40 since version 2.0.0. Besides that, this stage is otherwise the same. | |
Stage 325
(Hard) |
Dr. Kamek |
The objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses, including any that appear from flasks. This stage is shaped like the head of a virus. All existing viruses are hidden viruses. Filled flasks in this stage will shoot out either bubble viruses or exploders.
The capsule amount is increased from 32 to 35 since version 2.0.0. Besides that, this stage is otherwise the same. | |
Stage 326 | Dr. Koopa Troopa |
The objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses and collect all the purple coins. In this stage, there is a square of Brick Blocks and nine shells. Clearing the shells will reveal that the Brick Blocks hide Caged Coins surrounding hidden viruses. The Brick Blocks in the top two rows contain either viruses or purple coins (either caged or uncaged).
Prior to version 2.0.0, the stage layout was different. The following changes were made:
| |
Stage 327 | Dr. Kamek |
The objective of this stage is to collect all the virus coins. The virus coins are found under the eight viruses between the two rows of fans, along with the viruses in the second and fourth rows. The filled flask in this stage will shoot out either viruses or shells. | |
Stage 328 | Dr. Larry |
The objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses and Brick Blocks. Most of the viruses are initially inside bubbles. The red lock block in this stage unlocks the cages covering colorful crates.
Prior to version 2.1.0, the stage layout was different. The following changes were made:
| |
Stage 329 | Dr. Rosalina |
The objective of this stage is to collect all coins from Coin Blocks. This stage is shaped like an angled tilde symbol, with viruses crossing under it. The only Brick Blocks that do not contain coins are the ones found in the bottom-right, the bottom-middle and the top-right. Filled flasks in this stage will shoot out either viruses or exploders.
The capsule amount is increased from 35 to 39 since version 2.0.0. Besides that, this stage is otherwise the same. | |
Stage 330
(Hard) |
Dr. Baby Luigi |
The objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses, including any that appear from flasks. This stage is shaped like an empty heart, with Brick Blocks forming the outside of a heart. Most of the initial viruses are hidden in Brick Blocks, and a few colorful crates are found in this stage. Flasks exist in this stage, but will only be revealed after one line is revealed. Filled flasks in this stage will shoot out either viruses, exploders or Brick Blocks.
This stage will scroll for one line each time enough objects are cleared or enough capsules are added to the stage and will stop after 2 lines are introduced. | |
Stage 331 | Dr. Dolphin |
The objective of this stage is to collect all keys. In this stage, five keys, five doors and bubble viruses are found in the bottom right-angle triangle formation, while regular viruses along with two keys and two doors are found in the top right-angle triangle formation. Each key is blocked by one virus or bubble virus. Crates that each require four hits are also found in the middle of each triangle formation.

In this stage, groups of viruses each forming a plus symbol are found in all four corners, with three of them surrounding flasks and one of the surrounding a lock block. All purple coins are found behind cages locked by lock blocks. Filled flasks in this stage will shoot out either viruses, exploders or Brick Blocks.

Special Stage | Dr. Koopa Troopa |
The objective of this stage is to collect all coins from Coin Blocks. In this stage, viruses are scattered among Brick Blocks that contain coins, and more flasks are hidden until the stage has scrolled enough for them to be revealed. Filled flasks in this stage will shoot out either viruses, exploders or Brick Blocks.
This stage will scroll for one line each time enough objects are cleared or enough capsules are added to the stage and will stop after 6 lines are introduced. Completing this stage awards the player 1000 coins, and as of version 1.2.0, Dr. Diddy Kong is also awarded. |
