The Paon Corporation Ltd. is a video game company based in Tokyo, Japan. It was founded on January 20, 1999. It became a substantial company following the departure of Rare from Nintendo.
In Rare's absence, rights to work and build upon the Donkey Kong series were given to Paon. Thus far, they have presented fans with games like DK Jungle Climber, DK Barrel Blast, and DK King of Swing.
Currently, the company is releasing games for the Wii Virtual Console.
