Black Fairies[1] are dark fairies that appear in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. They are projectiles fired from the mouth of enemies Tar Man and Tar Fish that fly for a short time before forming into a Black Fairy Attack[2] and flying toward Donkey Kong. If it touch a Black Fairy Attack, he loses beats (a heart in the New Play Control! version). However, if Donkey Kong uses the Sound Wave Attack to deflect the attack toward Tar Man or Tar Fish, it will damage them. They will continue to launch the attack three times for Donkey Kong to deflect and defeat them.
