This level has snow from trees that can fall on [[Mario]], as well as deep snow in which Mario can barely jump if he gets stuck in it. The level begins with a [[Snow Spike]] and several [[Goomba]]s. Shortly after this, Mario can get the first [[Star Coin]]. To receive the second Star Coin, the player will have to jump on a [[Koopa Paratroopa]]. In order to receive the third Star Coin, the player may hit a block that, when hit, will grow more blocks, aiding Mario the ability to retrieve it. After avoiding more falling snow and more enemies, Mario reaches the [[Goal Pole]].

World 5-1 is the first level of World 5, in New Super Mario Bros.

Layout

The level begins with a Snow Spike and several Goombas. Mario also has to avoid falling snow and deep snow. Shortly after this, Mario can get the first Star Coin. After he checkpoint, Mario can also get the second and third Star Coins. After avoiding more falling snow and more enemies, Mario reaches the Goal Pole.
