Switch Barrels are a special type of barrel that Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong encounter during the events of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble.
These special barrels only appear in two levels, Blazing Bazukas and Criss Kross Cliffs. The barrels have an S on the front of them. When this S is showing, the barrels that Bazuka in the area shoot are either Steel Kegs (in Criss Kross Cliffs) or TNT Barrels (in Blazing Bazukas). When the Kongs overlap with the barrel, the S will be covered by white lines. At this point, all of the Bazukas' barrels will change to either a normal barrel (in Blazing Bazukas) or a TNT Barrel (in Criss Kross Cliffs). One Switch Barrel also appears in Koindozer Klamber, and it is needed to defeat Koin.
