The Kamek Capsule first appeared in Mario Party 5, where it could be thrown to a space on the board, or used on the player for ten coins. Whoever landed on a space containing the capsule made Kamek appear on his broomstick and use his magic to shuffle everyone's capsules. In Mario Party 6 and Mario Party 7, it became known the Kamek Orb. It costs ten coins at the Orb Shop. Opponents that landed on a space containing the orb summoned Kamek, who used his magic to give control of one of the Character Spaces they placed on the board to the owner of space opponents landed on (three in Mario Party 7).

Trivia

  • Whenever someone lands on an opponent's Character Space that was set with a Kamek Orb in Mario Party 6, Kamek will always incorrectly announce that he's giving all of that player's Character Spaces on the board to their opponent.
