The Scroll is an item in the PC release of Mario's Time Machine. It is made of silk. After Mario travels back in time to Luoyang in 105, a writer gives the Scroll to him what kinds of tools he uses to write, but also asks him to keep this a secret. Mario then gives the scroll to emperor Ho Ti, who becomes bored of the Firecracker and asks Mario to entertain him again. After receiving the Scroll, he comments that emperors should only read silk scrolls and continues to answer Mario's questions about Ts'ai Lun.
