Yoshi's Island consists of a | Yoshi's Island is quite basic; it consists of a small arena which is the top of a hill, with a see-saw-like platform suspended above it. [[Support Ghost]]s also appear on each side of the stage at random points, and serve as additional platforms. One unique feature of this stage is that it constantly changes seasons, although this has no effect on gameplay, only the music, getting quieter after summer and louder after winter. This stage is one of the 'jolly' stages, so [[Crate]]s and [[Barrel]]s that appear on it resemble presents.
