A Note about the Aboutfile Template and Categories when Uploading Images

Hello, and welcome to the MarioWiki! Just an informal reminder: This image that you uploaded was missing the Aboutfile Template and necessary categories. I added them in for you. Keep in mind that whenever you upload an image, that you generally should use the aboutfile template, but even if you don't have to, all images must have a category. Thank you, and keep contributing! Hello, YoshiKing20. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups: Images Audio/video files Company images Film images Game images Merchandise images Publication images System images Television series images Website images Company media files Film media files Game media files Merchandise media files Publication media files System media files Television series media files Website media files When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]] or [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

A full list of licenses can be found in the file copyright tags category, but the following are the most common: {{game-screenshot}} - Used for game screenshots. {{game-sprite}} - Used for game sprites. {{game-3Drender}} - Used for game models. {{game-cover}} - Used for game box art. {{character-artwork}} - Used for artwork of a character. {{game-logo}} - Used for a game's logo. {{logo}} - Used for other logos. {{photo}} - Used for photographs of real-life subjects. {{art}} - Used for artwork of something that is not a character. {{comic-scene}} - Used for scans of a comic. {{comic-cover}} - Used for covers of comic books. {{tv-screenshot}} - Used for screenshots of television shows. {{film-screenshot}} - Used for screenshots of movies. {{video-screenshot}} - Used for other screenshots, such as those from YouTube. {{dvd-cover}} - Used for box art of DVDs. {{vhs-cover}} - Used for box art of VHSes. {{album-cover}} - Used for box art of music albums. {{poster}} - Used for promotional posters. {{music-sample}} - Used for music files. {{sound-clip}} - Used for sound effects. {{video-clip}} - Used for video files. When uploading, select the license from the drop-down box below the summary text box, or add the license manually after uploading or if you're using the upload function from the text editor. Please don't make so many consecutive edits to the same page, otherwise it floods the recent changes and article history page with edits. In the future, if you're trying to fix a mistake, use the "Show preview" button next to the "Save changes" button; this lets you see what your edit looks like and fix any mistakes you may have made before saving it.
