Please stop adding useless trivia and writing in poor grammar on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing. If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
This is a wiki, so please write with proper grammar next time. You can go here to read more about writing guidelines. Thanks. Mario JC
- Also, please do not add links to unofficial and fan-made videos; External links are only for sites like official game websites and videos by Nintendo. Mario JC
Last Warning[edit]
This is your last warning. The next time you break the rules in any way (such as Attacking other users directly), you will be blocked from editing the Super Mario Wiki. If you feel this last warning was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
These users are not reverting your edits because they personally dislike you. They're reverting your edits because they're often times unacceptable for quality standards, and are concerned about how the information is displayed to visitors. If you don't want your edits to be reverted, at least put some effort in your writing and formatting skills. The last thing a wiki needs here is impassable grammar and bad formatting. If your edits get reverted again, next time, don't whine and post essay-long rants about how much such and such stink for removing your edits. Ray Trace(T|C) 18:15, 8 August 2015 (EDT)
- The administrators upgraded the Warning to a Last Warning because the offense the user was warned for (this flaming) is a level three offense of the Warning Policy, plus this user already has a track record of making questionable decisions.
Warning[edit]
This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (adding obvious and unnecessary trivia) on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site. If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
Please think twice about the types of trivia you're adding. The Rumble Pak was only used on two consoles, so saying the N64 was the first console to use it isn't really worth noting. Trivia points are usually information and (sometimes) interesting facts you can't fit anywhere else in the article, like the one you added about the NTSC and PAL frame rate and audio differences, not information that has already been mentioned, info that would better be mentioned in the main article itself, or just obvious or unnoteworthy info in general. Your image file names[edit]
Please stop uploading image files that have the following names "This Is A Mario Party 4 Image And I'm Too Lazy to Add It Into a Pre-Release Section So I Need Someone Else To Do It For Me.png". Read this again, and think again before you upload more asinine file names. Also, source your images better; chances are, you took the image from the Cutting Room Floor (the picture is identical to that of it too) or any website that looks into content like this, please source them. Recent Uploading Actions[edit]
This shouldn't need to be said, but apparently it needs to be. If you are uploading an image, pick an appropriate name, not some long thing that barely has any relation to the actual images, secondly do not then go and add it to some random page, instead add to the page where it should actually be, which is this page, in this section. If you upload an image with an absurdly long file name or place it onto a random page again, you will be banned from editing on this site. Yoshi876 (talk)
