RE: Pianta Issue[edit]
First of all, you should be using your account when you edit, rather than editing when logged out.
Second, Pianta prosecutor should probably be removed in that case. If Martinet really is every male Pianta in the game, we don't need to list each individual one. 01:58, September 16, 2020 (EDT)
RE: Luigi Beta Voice Clips[edit]
Because these clips are not from the Mario 64 code, they're from Mario Advance passed off as leaked Mario 64 clips. I was referring to the pinned comment in the video you linked.
This was removed once already before when I linked this video. Rather than repeatedly reverting the edit or if you're unsure about something, actually discuss it with the user first, otherwise edit-warring will earn you a warning. Mario JC 07:19, September 20, 2020 (EDT)
New Discovery![edit]
It has just been discovered that Mario saying "Here we go!" was also used for the Goombas, the Monty Moles and the Bob-Ombs! Here is a video:

What do you guys think? Let me know!
UPDATE: It turns out the Thwomp's grunt is a slowed down unused voice clip of Mario:

Portrayals[edit]
Where are you getting the Charles Martinet isn't the Piantas (after you claimed the were) and that it was Scott Burns instead? 16:43, July 7, 2021 (EDT)
Maia is not an official name![edit]
Daisy's mother was never given a name. Here is SMB Movie Archive's tweet: Both the names Maia and Reznor are entirely of our own devising for the sequel comic universe. The queen never had a name while the king was variously named Murphy, Karma, and Bowser. We decided to just put our own spin on it!--Platform (talk) 08:28, August 12, 2021 (EDT)
Charles Martinet[edit]
Hello, would you mind explaining or providing a source for the additions you made to the portrayals list (specifically Goomba and Thwomp)? Mario JC 22:20, August 23, 2021 (EDT)
Yes I can, Hint: look into my user talk page under New Discovery! and that will give you some answers. 😊

RE: Doh I Missed[edit]
I linked to the "Trivia" section on Thomas Spindler's page in my summary, which references a YouTube comment from Spindler himself confirming that it's him saying the German line. Since he's a primary source, this would be more reliable. These links also don't confirm Martinet voicing him. Mario JC 22:42, September 30, 2022 (EDT)
Well do these links confirm he DID say the Doh I missed line?

- It still doesn't change the fact that it is "So ein Mist" like Spindler said (there's an audible "S" at the start), and given this and he went into detail about it, I'm inclined to believe he voiced that. Also, please stop editing anonymously and adding information without a source. Mario JC 22:34, October 1, 2022 (EDT)
- The source should also be referenced on the article per the instructions on MarioWiki:Citations, not just in the summary. A link to just an in-game voice clip does not prove who voiced it. Mario JC 04:58, October 2, 2022 (EDT)
Is this reliable source that Charles Martinet was the announcer in the Mario Advance games?
I emailed him earlier today… And this was his response.

RE: Pinball[edit]
Hey, got your message!
I still don't think this is very reliable considering he's claimed to have done Thomas Spindler and Grant Kirkhope's Wario and Donkey Kong voices many times before.
The voice sounds far too different from him, if I was to take I guess I'd actually say it was Ronald Ruben.
Either way the pinball machine is still mentioned on the article so, in my personal opinion it shouldn't be added to the list of games until some kind of third party can verify it.

No it has to be him. A lot of sources say it is him…

Here is the original story on when he confirmed he voiced it:
Okay so, you are telling me he did NOT voice Mario in the pinball machine correct? Do you have any sources about that? (Something to do with admins in the discord?) If so, I would like to see it.
Thanks

Ok for starters:
1. Not only does it sound nothing like him OR his Mario voice, there's footage from an entire year BEFORE the pinball machine came out where he does the same voice as today. https://twitter.com/CharlesMartinet/status/1493266234644779012?s=09
2. He has been wrong about his voices before, as I already said. Here is an article in which he claims to have recorded voicelines, that are known to be done by Thomas Spindler. https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2020/11/random_charles_martinet_adds_to_decades-old_confusion_over_wario_doh_i_missed_dialogue
3. After providing this evidence, as you guessed, most people in the Discord agreed that there's no chance it can be him, which lead to me making the original edit.
In my personal opinion, given how many times Charles has been wrong about his career in the past, it shouldn't be added to the list of games until some kind of THIRD PARTY can verify the claim. If anything he only remembers voicing the pinball machine because of that one Reddit user who caused this whole debacle.

Maybe it is him? I am not sure what to say. Maybe he is losing his marbles… I know he once said that he voiced Donkey Kong in Mario Kart 64 when he actually voiced him at a convention in 1994 and his voice in MK64 was actually sound effects from a movie called Toby Tyler and was voiced by Disney SFX designer Jimmy MacDonald. He also said that he voiced Toadsworth in MK64 which is not true because Toadsworth did not make his debut until Super Mario Sunshine 6 years later and Toadsworth voice turned out to be Scott Burns 20 years later… I guess he is losing it…
