Sorry, I'm not very active anymore. I may pop on from time to time but not very often. It would be easier to find me on the forums (even though I'm somewhat inactive there too)

Hello. The first Nintendo video game that I played was actually a Legend of Zelda game, though I became a Mario fan a while after that (quite a while, actually). The first Mario game that I played was Super Mario 64 DS, back in... 2008, was it? I've created these pages:

Antasman, Bloopurn, Dark Block and Lakitu R.

If you want to see the old and zany weirdness that I was back in 2013 (before I turned depressing in 2014), look at some old revisions... WARNING: THEY ARE NON-SEQUITUR AND WEIRD

Reviews about Mario games (incomplete)

Please remember that all of these reviews are opinion-based. I'm thinking about reworking this section into a table but that'll take a while, so not yet.

NES

Super Mario Bros.

A Starman from Super Mario Bros.A Starman from Super Mario Bros.A Starman from Super Mario Bros.A Starman from Super Mario Bros.

Excellent. The missing Star is from the difficulty. The game is straightforwards with no twists as the non-existant story progresses. this makes the game fun (at least it works better than Kirby's Dream Land). The Bowser fights are challenging, obviously... I have it on Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console. Completed? No.

Super Mario Bros. 3

4 Stars. Fun but difficult. I have this on Wii Virtual Console. Enough said. Completed? On a whim, yes. (Thanks, Warp Whistle!)

Super Mario World

SMW Star.gifSMW Star.gifSMW Star.gifSMW Star.gifSMW Star.gif

Masterful. Just masterful. The only (minor) problem is that the final level (Funky) is too easy. Otherwise, the game has no major flaws (some bugs, though) and is a masterpiece. I have it on BOTH the SNES and Wii VC (Virtual Console). Completed? Yes.

Yoshi's Safari

4 stars

Just nice. Not masterful, but nice. The gameplay is the best part. The only disadvantage of owning the game is that it can be completed in less than 3 hours. Hard mode makes the game repetetive. Otherwise, the game is fun and simple. Completed? Yes.

Picture: The American boxart for Yoshi's Safari.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

3 stars

I have a hard time with this game. Not only that but the story is mediocre. Otherwise, the game is rather memorable. Completed? Yes (not 100%, though).

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars promotional artwork: A Star Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars promotional artwork: A Star

UGH. Not only is the game difficult, the graphics are mediocre, ESPECIALLY in comparison to Super Mario 64, which was released just a few months afterwards. Completed? After reaching Lvl. 30 in a matter of MONTHS, yes.

Nintendo 64

Super Mario 64

Star.gif Star.gif Star.gif Star.gif Star.gif

One of the best Nintendo 64 games. No major glitches, awesome gameplay, amazing story and the correct difficulty. Completed? Yes.

Picture: North American box art of Super Mario 64.

Mario Party

3 stars

The problem is that the rapid-button pressing is not made for the Nintendo 64. Otherwise, the game is not too bad. Completed? No.

Picture: File:MP1 Cover.png

Yoshi's Story

2½ stars

The singing is annoying and the story is infantile but the game is overall ok. That's all I have to say. Completed? Not all levels are unlocked and not everything is 100% complete, though Baby Bowser has been defeated multiple times.

Picture: North American box art for Yoshi's Story

Mario Golf

4.2 stars

One of the better Mario Golf games. The problem is that opponent AI exceeds expectations. Completed? Is it possible to complete?

Picture: File:MG64.PNG

Paper Mario

3½ stars

The 2nd best Paper Mario game, has some of the best storyline points in the Super Mario series. That's all I have to say. Completed? Yes, though likely not 100%.

Picture: File:Papermario.PNG

Nintendo GameCube

Luigi's Mansion

File:Mario's Star.PNG File:Mario's Star.PNG File:Mario's Star.PNG File:Mario's Star.PNG File:Mario's Star.PNG

One of the best Nintendo GameCube games, there are barely any flaws. The ghost enemies are entertaining to catch and the collection of items can also be entertaining. Completed? If a Rank A mansion is obtained over 5 times and isn't considered completion, then I don't know what is.

Super Mario Sunshine

I think that I originally rated this at an overly-high rate. However, it is a good game. That's all I have to say... Completed? Not 100% yet.

Picture: North American box art for Super Mario Sunshine.

Mario Party 4

4.3 stars

One of the better Mario Party games, it has some memorable minigames like Domination and Booksquirm. Completed? When referring to Story Mode, yes.

Picture: North American box art for Mario Party 4

Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour

3½ stars

Nothing to go crazy over but it's enough. Completed? I don't know if it's possible to complete!

Picture: File:ToadstoolTour.PNG

Mario Party 5

3 stars

Somewhat boring, except for some of the minigames (like Merry Poppings and Wind Wavers). Completed? When referring to Story Mode, yes.

Picture: File:MP5BOX.PNG

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door

5 Stars

The best Paper Mario game! An interesting storyline, awesome graphics and a bunch of bosses that are impossible to get bored of! Completed? Still have to complete the Pit of 100 Trials...

Picture: North American box art for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

Mario Power Tennis

3 stars

Not too shabby though it might have been slightly better if Power Shots were more difficult to execute, in order to add challenge. Completed? Might be impossible to complete.

Picture: The front cover for Mario Power Tennis for the Nintendo GameCube

Mario Party 7

4 stars

Ah, yes... it takes a long while to get bored of this game. The minigames, the party boards... if only there was more. Completed? Actually, yes. 100%!

Wii

Super Paper Mario

2.7 stars

So... I used to like this game until I got a copy of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, which is vastly superior to this game. I have since lost most interest in this game. Completed? Almost; I just have to survive the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials and complete all recipes...

Picture: Super Paper Mario North American cover art

Mario Party 8

3.5 stars

Not the worst Mario Party game but definetely not the best. Has memorable minigames and is MUCH better than Mario Party 9 (more on that later...) Completed? I haven't kept track but I'm pretty close.

Super Mario Galaxy

This game was good but got old after a while. There's not much to say otherwise. Completed? Yes.

Mario Kart Wii

This game is REALLY difficult, even in the slightly more fair 100cc. The game is otherwise masterful. Completed? 150cc hasn't been completed yet.

Mario Super Sluggers

4.2 stars

This game is good but gets boring after a while. It's good otherwise. Completed? Yes.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games

This game is ok but, like a few other games listed, can get old. Completed? No.

This game is great and didn't get old like the first Super Mario Galaxy did. Completed? Yes but not 100% (DARN YOU, GRANDMASTER GALAXY...

Mario Party 9

1 star

This game took what was familiar about Mario Party, then threw out that idea. The only saving grace that didn't make this game like how many speak of Paper Mario: Sticker Star (yes, that's right, I liked playing Sticker Star and I don't care what others say to that) would have to be the minigames. Completed? No.

Picture: MP9Boxart.jpg

Wii U

New Super Mario Bros. U

File:Powerup-super-star-sm.pngFile:Powerup-super-star-sm.pngFile:Powerup-super-star-sm.png

This game is good but not great. There isn't much else to say. Completed? No but I have defeated Bowser twice.

Flawless. The difficulty is just right, the graphics are excellent and the character selection is balanced. Completed? Not 100% yet.
