Ticktock Hop is a Duel minigame in Mario Party 3 (where it is parsed as Tick Tock Hop) and Mario Party Superstars.
Ticktock Hop is a Duel minigame found in Mario Party 3 (where it is parsed Tick Tock Hop) and Mario Party Superstars. The playing field resembles the painting from Super Mario 64 that takes the player to Tick Tock Clock.

Players are on the hour hand of a clock resembling the painting associated with Tick Tock Clock in Super Mario 64. They jump over the minute hand as it rotates around until one of them is hit by it, making the other player win. More possibilities occur if gameplay goes on longer, such as only the hour hand moving, both hands rotating, the hands moving at different speeds, or reversing direction. If both players are eliminated or have jumped over the minute hand 99 times, it is a draw.
The players stand on the hour hand and have to dodge the minute hand by simply jumping over it as it comes spinning around toward them. As the game progresses, the minute hand may be the only hand rotating, the hour hand may be the only one rotating, both hands may be rotating, and they may also reverse direction and change speeds. The last player standing wins. If both players are knocked off by the minute hand at the same time or if they jump over the hand 99 times, the minigame ends in a draw.

An "Endless" version of Ticktop Hop appears in Mario Party Superstars, continuing until both players are eliminated.
Although it does not say in the instructions, players can use n64 to angle their characters or run in place. However, they will stay in the same place, so there is no functional use for this.

In Mario Party Superstars, an "Endless" mode is available in Free Play; as the name implies, it continues until both players are eliminated, and it saves records. Additionally, due to the 16:9 aspect ratio, one can see that the clock is on the top of a wooden table with some tools and cogs surrounding it.
