Repurpose this template and move to "MPDS collectible"

This proposal aims to not only repurpose this template using the "infobox-wide" class rather than the "wikitable" class, but also move it to {{MPDS collectible}}. The current design for the template violates the standards laid out in this proposal. I just wonder if it is an error. I'm hoping that we'll replace the numbered figurine/image/description/unlock parameters with these:

• no - The collectible number.
• name - The collectible's name.
• image - An image of the collectible.
• type - Whether it's a Character Figure, a Board Feature, a Boss Trophy, or a Badge.
• unlock - How to unlock the collectible.
• description - The collectible's description.

Besides the default type parameter (Collectible), there are four main parameters for when the proposal passes:

• character - Character Figure
• board - Board Feature
• boss - Boss Trophies
• badge - Badges

It's important to know that the new design and page move will change the template, making this change very helpful. That way, when the proposal passes, we'll replace all of the template's MPDS collectible table transclusions with its MPDS collectible transclusions.

2. Super Mario RPG (talk) Per GuntherBayBeee. This is one of the circumstances where it looks better than just the standard wikitable, especially the prominence of the collectible number at the top.

Oppose: Delete this template

1. Waluigi Time (talk) I don't see why this is necessary when a standard table does the job just fine.
2. Camwoodstock (talk) When we've already been trying to cut down on "templates in lieu of tables", this feels like a very hard sell...

Shouldn't there be a status quo option, for if people want the template to not be edited, but don't want to delete it? (Though, given it's already marked for deletion, we guess it wouldn't matter as much in this case to keep it exactly as-is... ;P) ~Camwoodstock (talk) 22:47, January 22, 2025 (EST)
