Move?[edit]

Should we move this to Red Shy Guy (character)? It's the name in-battle and would remove the conjectural name.--KnightDarkNightKnight 17:37, September 16, 2020 (EDT)

The fact that he appears in Mossrock Theater as well makes me unsure about the current name. Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8
Good point. I would be willing to do so, although I would like to hear from at least one other editor before doing so. Lady Bow from Paper Mario. Green Star Lady Bow from Paper Mario. 17:47, September 16, 2020 (EDT)
Sure, I'm up for that as well. Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 17:49, September 16, 2020 (EDT)
It's settled. I'll go right ahead. Lady Bow from Paper Mario. Green Star Lady Bow from Paper Mario. 17:50, September 16, 2020 (EDT)
Text data refers to his initial questions as OB_Sunset_HEI01. His monologue is attributed to Huey for some reason. In Mossrock Theater, he is known as G4_Swing_HEI01. So we could go with "Sunset Shy Guy" or "Swing Shy Guy" if this doesn't work. Scrooge200 (talk) PMCS Mustard Cafe Sign.png 17:51, September 16, 2020 (EDT)
I think I'm fine with the in-game name, though since he has two internal names depending on location, I wonder if he was originally supposed to be the same Red Shy Guy or if that was added in localization. LinkTheLefty (talk) 08:22, September 19, 2020 (EDT)

Move to "Red Shy Guy (Paper Mario: Color Splash)"?[edit]

Shouldn't this page be moved to "Red Shy Guy (Paper Mario: Color Splash)"? Most species that have a character of the same name (for example, the hosts in Mario Party 4 and the Game & Watch Mini Donkey Kong) use the game name or a basic descriptor instead of "character". Also, a character named "Red Shy Guy" with a character descriptor could confuse user between him and the generic Red Shy Guy playable in Mario Kart games. Should this be moved for consistency? Personally, I think "Red Shy Guy (Paper Mario: Color Splash character) would be the better name, considering that Red Shy Guys are common enemies in that very same game. ArendLogoTransparent.pngrend (talk) (edits) 10:27, December 24, 2024 (EST)
I would also support a move to "Red Shy Guy (Paper Mario: Color Splash character)" to make it clearer that it's not referring to a generic enemy in the game. Lady Bow from Paper Mario. Green Star Lady Bow from Paper Mario. 23:13, January 7, 2025 (EST)
