Talk:List of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episodes featuring Mouser
Is this page necessary?[edit]
While this page lists all episodes mouser appears in, it's the only list for any character looking at the The Super Mario Bros. Super Show category. Should pages like this one be created for the over characters, or should this be deleted?

- We do have a similar page for this for Mario's appearances. I feel like I once questioned the relevance of these pages on the forum, but we decided to keep them, but in all truth I can't completely remember. Yoshi876 (talk)

Mario gets to have articles that focus exclusively on his cartoon appearances (TAoSMB3 and SMW) because his article is so large and his appearances in the cartoons are so numerous that splitting them into a separate article allows for both a more cohesive description of Mario's role on the main article and a more detailed description of each of Mario's appearances on the lists without bogging down the main article. This article, on the other hand, accomplishes none of that. Mouser's only appearance (as a character) is in the Super Mario Bros. Super Show, so moving the information is pointless since it'll leave the main article unnecessarily short. However, this article hasn't actually moved any information; all it has done it list Mouser's appearances and give a one-sentence description of what he does. Granted, the main article doesn't cover a lot of Mouser's appearances, but that's all the more reason to expand the information there and not shuttle it to another article. It's simply unnecessary.

Delete[edit]
- Time Turner (talk) Per proposal.
- Baby Luigi (talk) Everything about this page can easily fit in the main Mouser (The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!) article.
- Niiue (talk) Per both.
- The Koopa Bro. (talk) Per all.
- TheFlameChomp (talk) Per all.
- Alex95 (talk) Per all.
- Toadette the Achiever (talk) This list barely even meets the minimum standards for list articles, and probably should have been covered in the parent article long ago. Per all.
- YoshiFlutterJump (talk) Why was this article created in the first place? It should definitely be deleted.
- Boo4761 (talk) Why do we need this?
- Luigi 64DD (talk) Per all.
- Yoshi the SSM (talk) Per all.
- Ultimate Mr. L (talk) Per all.

I find a problem with this proposal. Right now, it's currently being featured on the 'Shroom Spotlight. If the article gets deleted, how are we supposed to let people look at the information just in case they decide to later (in like 2018)? – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 22:42, 1 May 2017 (EDT)
- I don't think it would be the first time an article in The 'Shroom Spotlight got deleted. And if a featured article ends up getting deleted in the future with majority support, then oh well. 22:57, 1 May 2017 (EDT)
- A template on top of the page and how a community newsletter deals with articles here is the least of our concerns. They'll find a way to deal with it. Ray Trace(T|C) 15:15, 2 May 2017 (EDT)
- Speaking as one of the Spotlight co-ordinators, Spotlight is designed to highlight articles, and if the highlighting led to the deletion of the article that wasn't required, then I'd view that as a success. Yoshi876 (talk)
- A featured article has been deleted in the past as a result of a proposal. After this proposal went through, Robo Koopa (form) was merged to King Koopa's alter egos. Also, this proposal outright deleted List of Tayce T. Recipes by ingredient, List of Saffron and Dyllis Recipes by ingredient, and List of Zess T. Recipes by ingredient.
