As per MarioWiki:Once and only once, the subject of this page is already covered in List of Mario Party: The Top 100 minigames#Minigame packs. The reasons why it shouldn't constitute a page of it's own are the following:
- Given the recent standarization of other Mario Party minigame lists, particular clasifications of minigames made by the game were added to the last part of the lists, not given a page of their own. See: List_of_Mario_Party_5_minigames#Minigame_Sets, List_of_Mario_Party_6_minigames#Mini-game_Sets, List_of_Mario_Party_7_minigames#Minigame_Sets.
- This list can be considered a sub list of List of Mario Party: The Top 100 minigames although it's not clear that it doesn't contain all the available minigames since the game itself is not clear on that subject. Also the assets (images) are all shared between the two with no additional point.
- The term "minigame pack" is also not a clear indication of anything ingame. Different sprites exist for the different packs but other than the blur already present in Mario_Party:_The_Top_100#Minigame_packs nothing else warants notability.

- I guess the page can be condensed into the list of minigames article but my reasoning for the split was that minigame packs are a distinct way of organization that the game absolutely takes advantage of as opposed to a genre in prior Mario Party games that are optional: in both Championship Battles and Minigame Match, you HAVE to select a minigame pack before you even start playing a game, which is unlike the category specifications in prior Mario Party titles. It's not really a sublist of the list of minigames, but rather, what the game railroads you into when you pick the mode, plus Minigame Match makes a big deal out of the packs (it spins a roulette that randomly determines from a pool of minigames of your own selection, plus CPUs pick their own packs). I don't think it's that confusing, it fits nicely together if you play the game. The one currently in the article isn't easy to sort through but I suppose that can be fixed with edits. I wouldn't be completely opposed to a merge, however. Ray Trace(T|C) 18:49, January 3, 2022 (EST)
- I think it'd be just better to move it back into the List of Minigames article, possibly even having a collapsible table that lets players sort by pack or alphabetical order as well. Also, this proposal hasn't been answered for like two years, so I hope for that to be resolved already, now that I've already said something. --EleCyon (talk) 09:47, June 14, 2024 (EDT)
