New Airing![edit]
I've now have noticed that DKC is now airing in Australia in the new program KidsCo. Just to tell. - LuigiMania (talk) 8:17, 14 December 2009 (Pacific Time Zone)
- Great, thanks for the heads up! (Now I wish I lived in Australia...) - Walkazo 01:46, 15 December 2009 (EST)
I do live in Australia! It's not all that great. DKC was, like, the first thing that they aired. I've watched a fair amount of the episodes but I can't seem to see any plotline. Also, some episodes are aired 3 times and some not at all :( --TimTamChimchar 01:32, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
Episode order[edit]
I've been having trouble finding the correct order of all the episodes, as every website I check has them in a slightly different order. Is there any reliable website with the episode guide for the original North American releases or something? Fawfulfury65

About voice actors[edit]
I've read nearly EVERYWHERE that in season 2, Frank Welker provided Krusha's voice. But the in-show credits mention nothing of that at all. I was just wondering if it is really Welker who did the voice, and if it wasn't him, then who did? Krusha's voice in season 2 does sound a bit different from the first season. Japanese dub[edit]
This series was aired in Japan as well, and there are videos that prove it.--181.160.107.115 18:56, 14 July 2013 (EDT)
Season quantity[edit]
Even though it's commonly purported on the internet that there's only two seasons of the show the truth is there are three seasons. The only official website for information on the show is Nelvana and they clearly state that there's three seasons:
http://www.nelvana.com/show/188/donkey-kong-country
To figure out how they are divided I went to archive.org and found the older version of their DKC page where it is clear that seasons 1 and 2 make up 26 episodes with each season containing 13.
https://web.archive.org/web/20060328013320/http://www.nelvana.com/shows/episodes_template.asp?sid=16
They're referred to as "cycles" here, but I think it's safe to assume that it's the same thing.

Deciding how many seasons[edit]
This talk page proposal has already been settled. Please do not edit any of the sections in the proposal. If you wish to discuss the article, do so in a new header below the proposal. |
3 seasons 0-5
There's some conflicting information on how many seasons the DKC cartoon has. As shown above, Nelvana considers it to have three seasons (or "cycles") of 13x13x14 (the first link is ded but their 2021 PDF catalogue retains the 3-seasons scheme.). That's also the numbering scheme used on Tubi and Apple TV. However most database and the show's DVD releases use a 2-season scheme where the 26 Medialab-produced episodes make up the first season and the 14 Hong Guang-produced episodes the 2nd. Every French sources also seem to consider the show as having two seasons, although none of them seemed thorough (I couldn't fair airdates to substantiate if there was a production gap after the first 13 episodes).
(Amazon Prime has the show as a single 40-episodes season but I think that can safely be disregarded as being wrong)
Normally I'd consider Nelvana's word to be good enough, but probably more people are familiar with the DVD scheme and an user unilaterally reverted the page back to two seasons this April. So I feel a vote would be helpful to have something to point to.

2 seasons[edit]
3 seasons[edit]
- Glowsquid (talk) - Per Proposal
- Waluigi Time (talk) If that's what the production company is going with, I don't see why we should use anything else.
- Somethingone (talk) Why should we base it on what the DVD says? If the company says it's 3, then it's 3. Nothing else said.
- Shokora (talk) – I'd consider it valid to follow the studio's contemporary stance of three seasons.
- TheFlameChomp (talk) Per all.
Comments[edit]
Erm.....Supporting and Opposing what? Supporting 2 seasons and opposing 3? Supporting 3 and Opposing 2? The options aren't helpful. Somethingone (talk) 21:35, June 11, 2021 (EDT)
I have a question[edit]
