Second type

Well, the "i'ma gonna eat ya" type suddenly jump out of bookshelves and fling themselves at you in your general direction, while the "it's a trap!" type just fling themselves horizontally between bookshelves, so they've at least got differences besides the Muth in the room; one is a bookmonster while the other one is a polterbook.
