Remote-Control Platforms[1] are a type of Tilt Lift found in the New Super Mario Bros. subseries.

History[edit]

New Super Mario Bros. Wii[edit]

Remote-Control Platforms first appear in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, where only one appears in World 8-5. The player controlling it can move it on its track by tilting the Wii Remote in the designated direction.

New Super Mario Bros. U / New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe[edit]

Another Remote-Control Platform appears in New Super Mario Bros. U and its port in the level Boarding the Airship, where its behavior is largely unchanged from New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It is one of the very few objects that do not return in New Super Luigi U.
