Reel Cheep is a single-player minigame found in Mario Party Advance. Its name is a pun on the expression "real cheap," referring to something inexpensive.

Introduction
Gameplay
The character is standing out on a beach with a fishing rod. They cast their line out into the ocean before the game starts.
The player attempts to reel the biggest Cheep Cheep in the weightier by reeling them. The player has to press the buttons in the correct order to reel it up. If the player presses a wrong button, the Cheep Cheep will eventually go away if the player messes it up too much. The player who gets the cheep cheep at a certain weight wins!!

The player has to put the biggest Cheep Cheep on the scale by reeling it in within the time limit. The player must place the bobber over a silhouette, and when a Cheep Cheep bites the line, the player must press the sequence of buttons in the correct order to reel it in; the heavier the Cheep Cheep, the more buttons that must be pressed. However, the Cheep Cheep swims away if all the buttons are not pushed in time. If the player catches a heavier Cheep Cheep, it replaces the one on the scale if it is of lesser weight.

In the Shroom City and Mini-Game Attack modes, the player must win by placing a Cheep Cheep above the required weight on the scale before time runs out.
