The Semifinal Test Piranha Plant Reprise is the eighth Special World level in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. This level has the most ways to enter, with all previous Special World levels leading to it, and it requires 6 Special World Wonder Seeds to unlock. Completing it unlocks The Final Test Wonder Gauntlet. The level acts as a much harder sequel to Piranha Plants on Parade. This level has a five-star difficulty, like every other Special World level, and houses two Wonder Seeds.

Layout[edit]

The course starts off with a short sections consisting of Piranha Plants emerging from red pipes on the ceiling. The ground has a row of Marimba Blocks leading to two big pipes, one of which having a Big Trottin' Piranha Plant that walks towards the left. Above that same pipe is a Wow Bud that creates a Long ? Block containing either Super Mushrooms or Fire Flowers depending on the condition of the players. The Wonder Flower is found not far afterwards. Obtaining it commences the Wonder Effect as well as the song "A Very Special March".

The entire duration of the Wonder Effect is a large autoscrolling straight path. Along the way, blocks, platforms, and pipes quickly move from offscreen. Some of the ones already present rise or sink to the music. Trottin' Piranha Plants and their larger variants emerge, sink, and walk to the beat. Some of these Piranha Plants are Fire Piranha Plants, which spit fireballs in sync. Additionally, Bill Blasters quickly arrive from the edges of the screen to launch Bullet Bills to the music before exiting. At specific moments, the screen slows down or stops before resuming to its normal speed.

Further on are Mushroom Trampolines and blue pipes that house Green Gamboo. Past them are Spikes that throw Spike Balls to the beat. Near the end of the Wonder Effect, the speed becomes much faster. This final section consists of Trottin' Piranha Plants, Big Trottin' Piranha Plants and Bill Blasters. The Wonder Seed is found on a large yellow pipe; collecting it ends the Wonder Effect. A Wow Bud is found afterwards, causing pipes to rise up in a staircase formation leading to the Goal Pole. One of these pipes has a Talking Flower who congratulates the players.
