They are now slightly stronger, but otherwise act mostly the same. A running gag in their in-game biographies for this game is suggesting their wings may be moldy. Additionally, when tattling them, [[Goombella]] incorrectly states they are a stronger version of a "[[Koopa Paratroopa|Parakoopa]]" rather than a Paragoomba in the English localization; this is fixed in the [[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Nintendo Switch)|Nintendo Switch remake]].
