In the ''Time Trial'' section it is also stated: ''Keep driving straight and go just slightly to the right of the dinosaur’s feet.'', ''When gliding here, try to fly underneath the dinosaur’s neck to save a little time.'' and ''Avoid the dinosaur’s head and legs, and keep an eye on those geysers!''</ref>

Nossies first appear in the [[GCN Dino Dino Jungle|Dino Dino Jungle]] track of ''[[Mario Kart: Double Dash!!]]''. There the light blue one mainly acts as a hazard for the racers passing near it in the canyon, being able to stomp them with its feet. It can also be met when passing on the wooden bridge that crosses the canyon, where it is able to make the karts spin with its head. Additionally, two Nossies, one colored red and the other colored yellow, appear moving through the lake where the branching boardwalk lies.

The light blue Nossie, with its name now romanized as Noshi,<ref name="MKT"/> appears again in the GCN Dino Dino Jungle track of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]''. Its role is mostly similar to its ''Mario Kart 7'' appearance, but if a racer lands on it, they can perform a [[Jump Boost]]. It also appears in [[N64 Koopa Troopa Beach|N64 Koopa Troopa Beach T and R/T]] and [[GBA Riverside Park|GBA Riverside Park T and R/T]], while multiple light blue Noshis appear in [[Tour Tokyo Blur|Tokyo Blur R/T]] (likely referencing the {{wp|kaiju}}).

 

 

While Noshi does not physically appear in ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]'', artwork of Noshi is used on the logo for the [[List of sponsors debuting in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe#Dino Dino Outdoor & Camping Goods|Dino Dino Outdoor & Camping Goods]] sponsor in the ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass|Booster Course Pass]]'' DLC.
