After the heroes clear out the first Darkmess Tentacle, they can find Gerspard outside the windmill area. He has a side quest for the heroes, named Tortured Artist, where the heroes have to find Da Da and the Spark Scoper Master. They are located in the Danger Zone, where Da Da is trapped in a Darkmess Puddle, and must be saved in a battle, known as Da Da in Danger. After the battle, Da Da is saved and reunites with Gerspard, and Scoper Master joins the heroes on their adventure.
