Each escalator conveys the player in a different direction. The escalator in the first room of [[2 Morton's Castle|#2 Morton's Castle]] conveys the player towards the top right, the one in the crushing ceiling room of [[4 Ludwig's Castle|#4 Ludwig's Castle]] conveys the player towards the bottom left, and the one found in the second room of [[7 Larry's Castle|#7 Larry's Castle]] conveys the player towards the bottom right. Each end of an escalator has a motor on it, similar to the endpoints of [[Track|rails]].
