Eggo-Dils<ref | Eggo-Dils are enemies resembling daisies with a smiley face in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, its remake, Yoshi's Island DS and Yoshi's New Island. Each Eggo-Dil has five yellow petals which spawn when Yoshi draws near and rotate around the enemy for a while, being launched in different directions afterwards. After dispersing its petals, the Eggo-Dil's head shrinks itself and soon grows back with another set of petals, repeating the attack pattern. The petals of an Eggo-Dil can damage Yoshi, but he can also eat them up to refill his egg supplies. A Ground Pound performed on the same screen as an Eggo-Dil's head is able to shrink and stun the enemy, causing all of its petals to simply fall off. However, the enemy's head will regrow itself as well as its petals soon after. A Chomp Rock can destroy the enemy permanently, as can a Giant Egg, which turns it into a star. The plant's face itself is harmless.
An Eggo-Dil also appears in Tetris Attack, | An Eggo-Dil also appears in Tetris Attack, partnered with a Flutter.
