The player has to defeat all of the enemies on-screen using the character's move or by landing on the enemy from above. The player does not lose the microgame if their character comes into contact with an enemy. Each level features different enemies that can appear in two different layouts per difficulty level, and takes place in different levels of the original game, with the corresponding music playing (in Level 2's case, the music that plays outside of the chase segments, "Tree Top Rock Returns"). After clearing the microgame, either [[Donkey Kong]] or [[Diddy Kong]] appears, depending on which enemy layout is used.

*Free movement and his [[Oinker]]'s wide tractor beam allow [[Orbulon]] to defeat all enemies quickly.

*[[Mona]] has a slight advantage, as she can use her boomerang to attack enemies without putting herself at risk.
*As [[Kat & Ana]] are constantly jumping, they are able to defeat enemies by simply moving to land on them.
*[[5-Volt]] has a slight disadvantage, especially in level 3, as she must use her teleport ability to hit the Tiki Buzzes, thus requiring planning to prevent her from falling.
*As his tongue has a diagonal trajectory, [[Pyoro]] is a poor fit especially in Level 3, where he may fall off the platform trying to reach the enemies with his tongue.
