'''Deep, Dark Secret''' is the second [[Darkmess Puddle]] battle of [[Cursa's stronghold]] in ''[[Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope]]''. In this battle, a [[Darkmess]] copy of [[Edge]] is fought, known as [[Darkmess Edge]]. It was created because [[Cursa]] created Edge, and thus was able to create a Darkmess copy of her. Edge must be used in this battle, while the player can choose the other three characters. After the battle, Edge reveals to the group that she was created by Cursa.

==Layout==
The battlefield is split across 6 floating islands, including the starting area, pipes connect between the islands, with the center island having a lower elevation than the others. Similar to [[King of Darkmess]], the battlefield is symmetrical. [[Jump Panel]]s are scattered across the islands. Darkmess Edge starts at the center island, along with a [[Medician]] and an [[Oozer (Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope)|Oozer]]. 2 [[Scoper]]s are also present, one on the two back islands each.

==Battle==
During the battle, indestructible [[Darkmess Portal]]s will appear throughout the battlefield, containing said enemies, along with [[Spellraiser]]s and [[Stooge]]s. After Darkmess Edge is defeated, the battle is won.

==Trivia==
*On the four sides off of the battlefield, statues of the [[Spark Hunters]] can be seen, except for Edge. The west side has one for [[Midnite]], the north side has one for [[Daphne]], the east side has one for [[Bedrock]], and the south side has a statue of [[Kanya]] from [[The Last Spark Hunter]] DLC with the statue's head missing.
