It is composed of multiple islands of varying sizes that Mario has to jump between, and his [[Long Jump]] technique can cross some of the gaps, which can make for a shortcut to save time. There are also several cages that can be broken by a Bullet Bill that contain items such as [[coin]]s, a [[1-Up Mushroom]] and a [[Launch Star]].
