The level begins in a small room with a [[ | The level begins in a small room with a trapdoor. In the [[Game Boy Advance]] version, there is a short trail of [[banana]]s leading up to the trapdoor. If the player only has one Kong upon entering the level, a [[DK Barrel]] beneath the trapdoor will summon the other Kong. Once the Kongs enter the trapdoor, the battle begins.
Belcha repeatedly | The fight takes place in a corridor with a pit on each side. In the Game Boy Advance version, there is a spiky turbine spinning over the left pit. Belcha will repeatedly spit out [[barrel]]s while slowly hopping to the left, attempting to force the Kongs into the pit on the left. The Kongs must jump on the barrels to release the [[Knik-Knak]]s inside them. After doing so, the Knik-Knaks must be jumped on once to flip them over. They can then be picked up, after which Belcha will start gnashing his teeth. The Kongs need to time throwing the Knik-Knak so it lands in Belcha's mouth, which causes him to burp, propelling himself backward. The objective of the battle is make Belcha burp until he falls into the pit on the right, which traps him, ending the battle. The amount of Knik-Knaks necessary to defeat Belcha depends on how quickly the player is able to feed him, with the minimum number being two.
Belcha | Belcha drops a [[Bonus Coin]] after being defeated. If the Kongs return to this stage after completing it and beat him again, they are rewarded with a [[Bear Coin]] instead.

*Though the boss battle takes place inside of a mill, it originally had a factory background in the original [[SNES]] version for an unknown reason. The background was changed in the Game Boy Advance remake to a mill background to match where the battle takes place.
