Ice Bro
Ice Bros. are a sub-species of Hammer Bros. appearing in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. First introduced on the map of World 3, they appear to look like normal Hammer Bros., but have light blue shells, shoes, and helmets. They can throw ice balls at Mario and the gang, which will freeze and damage them. Their ice balls can also hit other enemies (including other Ice Bros.) and freeze them as well. Like Hammer Bros., Boomerang Bros., and Fire Bros., they usually attack around other members of their species. If a Yoshi catches an ice ball thrown by them, the Yoshi can spit it out in the form of a blue fireball that freezes anything in its path. The Ice Bro. is the polar opposite of a Fire Bro, similar to the comparison of an Ice Flower and a Fire Flower.
