Where is the official source for the name? And how is "Tripping" more technical than "Slipping"? --Garlic Man (talk)

It could technically be both I guess. With the banana peel, it is slipping obviously, but when the charcter falls on their own, I guess that it's tripping.--FREAK ~Game Freak~ OUT!

Do we even need this article? It's nothing notable, just a feature that would also fit in the game's article as well. Break the Targets!, Subspace Emissary(in fact, it used to be part of the Brawl article, but was separated), Home-Run Contest, Multi-Man Brawl, etc. to name a few game mode articles from the SSB series. --Garlic Man (talk)

Technically, Home-Run Contest, Break the Targets and Multi-Man Brawl are more like minigames then modes. That brings up a question: which is more major? The minigames or the modes? Hello, I'm Time Turner.

The mini-game comment Reversinator made makes sense. Tulip Shooter and Flutter Challenge from YIDS have articles as well(Just like there is no "YIDS Mini-game mode" article, there is no "Stadium mode" article for Brawl; only the games within the game mode). And the Subspace Emissary was split because the Brawl article was simply becoming much too lengthy, IIRC. --Garlic Man (talk)

I think it's called "Pratfalling" because I saw in the VS records called "Number of Pratfalls" and think it means "tripping". Eh, actually, what do you think? Ray Trace^(T|C)

Nah, pratfalling isn't in the VS record in Melee. It's a bonus. But Brawl has it. And I don't know what that means since it doesn't explain it. Ray Trace^(T|C)
