Squitter
Squitter the Spider is a large sneaker wearing spider and ally of the Kongs.
Squitter's first appearance was in the game Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, here he was one of the game's many Animal Buddies. Squitter has many abilities such as shooting projectile webs and making web platforms to hop on. Squitter also has his own level in Donkey Kong Country 2 called "Web Woods".
Squitter also appears in Donkey Kong Country 2's pseudo-sequel, Donkey Kong Land 2. In this game Squitters abilities remain relatively the same.
In Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble Squitter makes a reappearance. Here Squitter once again aids the Kongs using his various webs, he also gains another level dedicated to him called "Krackshot Kroc".
Donkey Kong Land 3 is so far Squitter's last appearance.
Trivia
Squitter wears the same orange and white shoes as Expresso the Ostrich.
Squitter is described by the various Donkey Kong game manuals and official websites as the "coolest" of the Animal Buddies.
Interestingly Squitter is one of the few arachnids in the Donkey Kong Universe that has eight legs.
