PipeProject talk:Mario Kart
Mario Kart DS
This game article has characters, courses and karts, but that's all. Battle Mode? VS? Mission? Wi-Fi? As a sub-goal, let's expand on this page. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 01:38, 20 August 2006 (EDT)
Tacky
Can you seperate the race courses template by game, so that the tracks pages will only show what games it was from?
- Yoshi Mastar
- Do you mean that the the template would only show courses in just one game? That would require exactly six templates instead of one. Why would we want that? Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 05:32, 17 August 2006 (EDT)
Cause a huge template taking up half the size of the screen looks bad. Is it hard to break it up for each game?
- Yoshi Mastar
- Looks bad?? You can go inbetween each race course with that template, and the colors look quite nice. Wikipedia's Mario series templates are just as big. I've been trying to figure out how to add a hide/show feature, but I haven't yet. I would like to know if anyone else thinks that the template's size is annoying. Merging Repeat Courses
Especially in Super Mario Kart, there are many courses with the same name but climbing numbers. To avoid boring stubs, I suggest merging Mario Circuits and other repeat names, making one good article instead of several stubs. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 14:48, 16 August 2006 (EDT)
Battle Course Stubs
Going through the created battle courses to add them to Category: Battle Courses, quite a few of them were stubs. Can I get some help adding a few more sentences, at least? Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 00:04, 16 August 2006 (EDT)
Bowser's Castle
Alright, we have an issue on Bowser Castle and Bowser's Castle.
I know for sure that in MKDS it is Bowser's Castle. If any of the courses or sets of courses in a game is Bowser Castle (no 's), please let us know here so we can name it properly, otherwise all Bowser's Castle courses will go under the name with the 's. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 23:43, 15 August 2006 (EDT)
- My copy of MKDS says Bowser Castle, no 'S. Both tracks. Wikipedia says it's Bowser Castle too, on the respective game pages. SaltyTalk! 23:50, 15 August 2006 (EDT)
- In that case, I haven't played the game in awhile, so I'm forgetting (I thought I knew!). I still suggest merging all Bowser Castles into one article, noting that some games it's Bowser's Castle and others Bowser Castle. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 00:02, 16 August 2006 (EDT)
- However, my copy of MK:DD!! says Bowser's Castle, with the 'S. =/ Monty Mole 12:32, 20 August 2006 (EDT)

Please link games the first time using [[ and ]]. (Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and Mario Kart DS) Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 14:49, 15 August 2006 (EDT)
New Courses
I'm definitely willing to help out on this, but I only have Double Dash!! Just wanted to let you know. Monty Mole
- In that case, your assignment is to help create articles for courses in Double Dash!! ;) Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 12:05, 15 August 2006 (EDT)
- Aye aye, mon capitan! Monty Mole
Mario Kart Super Circuit
From Salty on Mariowiki talk:PipeProject:
- It turns out we did have a page for Mario Kart Super Circuit, the title not having the colon. It is correct that way, so that cancels out a large part of this project.
Indeed, now the 3rd goal will be to perfect the game pages. Thanks for the tip, Salty! Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 13:02, 15 August 2006 (EDT)
I'm in, too!
I'll readily join, as I have played excessivly Super Circuit, Double Dash!! and DS. I'm also going to order Super Mario Kart in a month or so, so once I've bought and played it, I'll help with those. I still have a few more projects to work on, but once I've finished, you can count on me to help out! (as much as I possibly can! ;) 3DeJong
Dry Bones wants to join
Come on can I join! I make a guide for Mario Kart.
