Oh really I sorry I remove the numbers I thought that mostly everyone knew hom many time they fought a boss. Princess Grapes Butterfly 10:52, 10 February 2008 (EST)
Ending
The ending of the game really confused me, and the article didn't help. What happens to all the lumas at the end? When Mario is in the mushroom kingdom at the end, Bowser was there, so how come Mario and Peach were happy and Bowser didn't attack them and Peach wasn't scared and Mario wasn't angry? Has Bowser became a good guy at the end? And how come it says the entire universe becomes one big galaxy, I don't remember that, and afterwards you still play in seperate galaxies. I need more explanation. CrystalYoshi
First: I think Bowser was beat. Second: The Lumas must have returned back to Rosalina. Third: I'm not sure how it happened, but probably after falling into the black hole did something. Palkia47
The Lumas went into the blackhole and baby stars appeared, they have a life cycle and the proccess is never the exact same way, so this must be where their lifr cycle repeats. Learner 10:40, 8 March 2008 (EST)
Why is it that it says only one luma fell in the black hole on this page but it says that all but one fell on the Luma page?? Bob-omb buddy

Sequel
I read in this link [1] is stated about a future part two to Super Mario Galaxy should we add it to this article.Princess Grapes Butterfly 19:48, 23 February 2008 (EST)
The page is gone!
The page is compelety gone!!! I'll alert a sysop!Princess Grapes Butterfly
I have a feeling I know who. Palkia47
It was The goomba I checked the history. Princess Grapes Butterfly 10:06, 8 March 2008 (EST)
Exactly. Me & Paper Jorge are settling it. Palkia47 That's what the hahahahaha thing is.
- Well, mostly I settled it :P. A nice one week ban is what he gets. Thanks Princess Grapes for alerting me. You did the right thing. Meanwhile, Learner, back-up pages are not neccessary. Sysops can easily revert edits and block the user if needed. Thanks everyone for trying so hard to stop the troll until I came on. Paper Jorge ( Talk·Contributions)·
Your welcome!!! Princess Grapes Butterfly
Ok, Well, I just thought that if someone found a loopole, then the backup pages would help.. Learner 10:54, 8 March 2008 (EST)
- Well they're just uneccessary. Just alert a sysop, get the sysop to revert and everything's fine. Paper Jorge ( Talk·Contributions)·
Luigi clones
I have a theory about how there there's two Luigis in the game. One of them is a clone of the other.-KP Blue 16:03, 25 April 2008 (EDT)
Offensive?
Take a look at the last trivia on the article? Is this concidered offensive (I think It is (just look at what it says) but I didn't want to revert the history to have it re-reverted).
- i dont see anything offensive, but it might have been removed. i think i no wat it is though (the stars on the box?) Jakeyboy01 10:25, 1 August 2008 (EDT)
- Yes. Miniscule, RANDOMLY PLACED stars on the box. They are touching U, R, M, another R, G, A,Y. An entire coincidence.GreenKoopa - Comments or questions?
- Yeah, but in theory they are also touching n A, a G and another A.
Super Mario Sequel
Given that the Wikipedia article on SMG discusses the sequel that will use leftover elements of SMG (as predicted by Shigeru Miyamoto), should we add this to our article? By the way, does anyone know when the next Space World is? ND IRISH ROCK! 09:13, 3 September 2008 (EDT)
- It actually has been said officially that the Super Mario Galaxy team is working hard on a new project, which can be expected in a year. We could mention it. What's a "Space World"? - Cobold (talk · contribs) 09:25, 3 September 2008 (EDT)
Peach's artwork
Why is Peach's artwork from Mario Party 8 in the gallery for Galaxy? - Cobold (talk · contribs) 12:43, 3 September 2008 (EDT)
- My question exactly. I'm thinking the Peach artwork should be kept from where it was first seen. And it was first seen for Mario Party 8. --M. C. - "Mario Gals" Fan! 13:11, 3 September 2008 (EDT) User Page | Talk Page
- A lot of the artwork in recent games is recycled. And so is Peach's artwork. --Grandy02 14:27, 3 September 2008 (EDT)
Where does it appear? It's not in the manual. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 14:30, 3 September 2008 (EDT)
- It was one of the artwork pieces appearing on the website aussie-nintendo.com, with a bunch of other Galaxy artworks like Bowser, Bowser Jr. and Magikoopa, which were also uploaded here because the users saw them on that site first (now there are higher quality ones, of course). But I can't find the old article there anymore. --Grandy02 15:03, 3 September 2008 (EDT)
Sequel article
I think we should do an article for the sequel, because we have some informations about it.
The preceding unsigned comment was added by Koopalmier (talk).
Um and what would you be talking about exactly...? whoever you are. MCHammerBro. Sign your comments plz!
- Yeah, AFAIK Nintendo has confirmed that there will be a sequel. Don't know if we need an article yet though. Time Questions 14:53, 8 September 2008 (EDT)
"U R MR GAY"
You probably all know about this, but the title of the game on the box art has a few of the letters highlighted by small stars. These letters which are highlighted spell out "U R MR GAY" - and this became quite a phenomenon when it was discovered. I'm just wondering whether this deserves to mentioned in the article or not? If so, I expect it would go in the Trivia section.
»» What? Are you laughing, huh!? 06:23, 8 November 2008 (EST)
- We already had a proposal about the mention of YouTube Poop in articles such as Hotel Mario and Mama Luigi. The proposal failed, because it's fanon and unofficial. The same goes for this. Only if Nintendo made an official statement referring to "U R MR GAY" (like for the "subliminal message" in Ashley's theme), it would deserve a mention. --Grandy02 16:55, 30 November 2008 (EST)
- My opinion about UR MR GAY. It must be a dirty work from a Sony Fanboy or a perverted designer who hates Mario or was paid by Sony to do that.Kastle Kaos 17:16, 30 November 2008 (EST)
It sound more like subliminal message too me. Grapes That's kinda of creepy and odd.

Super Mario Galaxy Original Soundtrack
Should the Super Mario Galaxy Soundtrack be a whole different article or be just part of the Super Mario Galaxy article? Or is there already that article?
- There are already several articles on soundtracks (see Category:Music), so there's no problem with a separate article. --Grandy02 16:40, 30 November 2008 (EST)
Chemical trivia
During a cutscene after completing the game Rosalina says, "When stars die, they turn to stardust and scatter across the cosmos. Eventually, that stardust reforms to create a new star...And so the cycle of life continues. But the cycle never repeats itself in quite the same way...". This bit of information is true about stars in real life. One might also say the same when she says, "All life contains the essence of stars, even you." The heat and light from all stars are from chemical reactions in (mostly) Hydrogen and Helium. Hydrogen is one of the four main elements found in all forms of life.
I doubt this information is really needed. True, stars (suns) get their energy by merging Hydrogen into Helium. True, Hydrogen, next to Carbon, Oxygen and Nitrogen is an essential substance for life on Earth. However, Super Mario Galaxy was never accurate with astronomical terms. It's fictional after all. "Galaxies" aren't as small in the real world, "stars" can only mean shining objects like the Sun and never planets with solid ground as in the game, third the planets themselves deny most laws of physics for having an atmosphere that spreads over multiple small planet systems which are stable.
I think that we should keep science out of the article as it doesn't really relate to the game at all. It's not realistic, and not attempting to be. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 13:01, 30 December 2008 (EST)
- Yes, that can be eliminated. If Rosalina had said something like "We are all made of Hydrogen," then we could include it, but she is only referring to a general, fictional concept. -- Son of Suns (talk)
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Is it true that there is going to be a mario galaxy 2, I personally don't see the poin in one, but some discussion websites think there will be one. --Daaviiid 13:50, 18 April 2009 (EDT)
The Mario series' creator has announced work on a sequel, but not stated explicitly anything more exact than that. So, Galaxy 2 is possible, but so is an entirely different sort of game. - 2257(Talk) 14:40, 18 April 2009 (EDT)
Unknown, Unlisted enemy
I noticed that an enemy that appeared in the Toy Time Galaxy is not listed as one of the enemies. I don't know the name of the enemy but its a silver robot that shoots a laser at Mario/Luigi. Just pointing this out. MapleTree Productions 11:36, 25 April 2009 (EST)
- Nevermind I added it in. MapleTree Productions 11:44, 10 May 2009 (EST)
Trading Card Game
The Trivia names a trading card game based on the game and its official site. First, is this an actual trading card game or just collectable trading cards? Because the cards feature just pictures, but not any stats or something which is typical for a TCG. Second, do you think it deserves an article? Aside from the Japanese Donkey Kong Card Game, I have never read about such a big set of Mario-related trading cards. Third, those card images might also be useful because they show some artwork of characters and enemies I haven't seen anywhere else. --Grandy02 14:20, 5 July 2009 (EDT)
Those plant thingies
What's up with those small saplings you find on random galaxies? Is there a purpose for them? I am very confused.
Korean Name
Is there a reason the game's Korean name is here? It seems out-of-place and redundant for this English wiki. Toadster_04 (talk)
- We cover names from other languages, but I agree that it looked misplaced, since it is neither the orignal title nor an alternate English title. Therefore, I moved it to "Names in Other Languages." --Grandy02 15:04, 27 August 2009 (EDT)
Trivia
I saw something about the "URMRGAY" thing in the trivia, shouldn't that be removed? Dark Lakitu 789
Requirements for minor galaxies
I see that the requirements to unlock the minor galaxies (such as Rolling Green, Buoy Base, and the such) are missing, except for Matter Splatter Galaxy. Do you guys think we need to add it in? T.c.w7468 20:25, 9 September 2009 (EDT)
What Galaxy is this in?
On the page, it says "Yellow Shockwave Inducing Creature", yet I cannot find it in the game. What Galaxy is it in?

I think it's just in the jappanes version. gamer2.1 (talk)
total stars
The total ammount of stars in the game is 242 if you count mario and luigi's stars together but seperated there's 120 stars + 1 extra star for compleating both mario and luigi's games compleatly! gamer2.1 (talk)
Puffer Fish/Porcu-Puffer enemy
I was wondering if the puffer fish enemy that's found in the drip drop galaxy of Super Mario Galaxy was a Porcu-Puffer (the puffer fish found in SMW and NSMBwii) and if that is something that should be included in the wiki, maybe as "an enemy that looks similar to a Porcu-Puffer appears in the Drip Drop Galaxy of Super Mario Galaxy"?

New Artwork?
Where did all this artwork come from? I mean the boss, enemy, and friendly characters' artwork. -Pikmin1254
- I don't understand your question. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
- I guess he or she refers to the artwork that has been crapped from these trading cards. --Grandy02 09:13, 7 February 2010 (EST)
Max Coins per Level
Although it doesn't unlock anything, what is the max number of coins that can actually be collected, on each level? I haven't found any answers out there (though several people speculated/wondered). I only know the answer for the first 20 levels or so (with 95% confidence), but a wiki seems like the perfect tool to let other people add their knowledge. I tried adding a page 'Super Mario Galaxy Maximum Coins per Level', but it got deleted w/o comment (perhaps because it was missing so much?). Any suggestions, on starting a page for this to gather the info? not-just-yeti 08:03, 16 March 2010 (EDT)
