Yoshi stealing Baby Peach's place by Slipstreaming.

Slipstreaming (also known as Drafting) is a technique often used in the Mario Kart series like Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart Wii. If a player trails behind a player for a certain period of time, a ghost-line will appear in front of his/her kart, and give him/her a temporary speed boost. However, attempting this technique can be potentially dangerous if the leading racer drops an item such as a Banana or a Bob-omb behind him/her which the slipstreaming player would be difficult to maneuver.
