  • In the Nintendo Direct presentation aired on March 26, 2025, a type of software management was revealed for the Nintendo Switch called Virtual Game Cards, which enables users to load digital games from one Nintendo Switch system to another in a similar manner to inserting physical game cartridges. Further, Shigeru Miyamoto unveiled a new smart device application called Nintendo Today, which delivers Nintendo-related announcements in the form of a calendar. The announcements are accompanied by visuals and animations with various Nintendo characters, including Luigi.
  • The soundtrack from the NES version of Dr. Mario (pictured) was made available on the Nintendo Music app on March 17, 2025.
  • On March 13, 2025, Nintendo San Francisco was announced to have its grand opening on May 15, 2025.
  • On MAR10 Day, a Super Mario Bros. theme was released for Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo, which also became available for purchase in Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. Nintendo also revealed a "Mario & Standard Kart" Mario Kart set for the LEGO Super Mario toy line, which is set to be released on May 15, 2025.
