This template simplifies interwiki linking to Wikipedia. The first parameter is the page title. An optional id parameter can be used to add an identifier to the page link (but not the link text), an optional second parameter can be used to change the link text, and an optional l parameter can be used to change the destination Wikipedia language.
It should not be used in subheadings since doing so breaks the automatic section links in the edit summary; use the following format instead: [[wikipedia:Page title|Display text]]
